This adapter allows you to connect standard USB cables (with the classic rectangular type-A plug, such as the cables provided in several JeVois kits) to a recent computer that has type-C USB ports.
Plug the type-C end into your computer and attach the standard type-A USB cable to the 4 exposed pins. Be careful about the orientation of your type-A connector: the 4 exposed pins on the adapter should mate with the plastic piece and the pins inside the type-A connector, not with the metal shell of the type-A connector (otherwise you will short the USB port of your computer).
